How To: Add Pressure Input for PC-V

Great detective work guys!!

Just remember offset voltages inside the ECU will lasted the sensor voltages if you’re trying to make the TuneECU and PC-V tables align. On my bike, from memory it was like -0.34mv difference.

My playing was in the 3 decimal place so yup. BUT before we get to obsessed - we need to take into account mfring tolerances. This is Blueprinting territory.

Having never had a close look at the original - tough. Which is it?.
No idea, was waiting for you to find them cheap and 'aftermarket' or that could turn out to be 'beforemarket' if a generic component too, either way I ain't fussy.

Aren't there thousands of threads about R3 TPS with pics and many comments about there being black and blue ones or is that just the badly 'bruised'?

I made a quick attempt at the TPS thing. Couldn't find anything out there that was the same, many similar, but none the same.

mapped them out - The low volt value seems VERY VERY close - The high volt value is way off.

Rob - As we EU folk have no EVAP stuff - it dawned on me it could be an interesting option. it fluctuates a lot more than .25-.5 up here.

Use any old 1bar sensor for the PCV - but get one that is calibrated and documented. Any old USB supply will give us 5V. Using a GM or VW sensor means easy access - Now where are these unused ports? - Are they threaded or push on? - If threaded what thread?.

Now who can spot the R3 TPS matchup?

Hi Ishrub

I tried to find/source an alternative TPS a while back without success in fact I found a chinese website that did nothing but TPS units, there were around 30 pages of them, no luck. The TPS is a Keihin unit and is also fitted to some single injector body single cylinder KTM i think? Only crossover I could find. Think this may be made specifically for Keihin and theres probably not enough of (demand for) them for the knockoff shops to begin production.

Now whether a different one can be adapted up to work, that's another question.

By the way, all youse making jokes about Joe Lucas and British wiring, my bikes got a Keihin EFI and ECU, now I find its got a Mitsubishi MAP, pretty sure the Prince of Darkness hasn't been too close to these....
