How long before a tune to the Storm will be available?

Hello, I really want to upgrade to a Werkes exhaust on my Storm but am leery about doing so without tuning it. According to the TuneECU website the tuner can't read or write to the Storm, so I assume that means the ECU hasn't been figured out yet. How long do you all think it will take before this will be possible?

Not sure. Just visited that webpage - found no red circle. That screenshot is a sham.

Maybe get help from someone nearby who’s familiar with webpages or good with computers

I know that Werkes says it doesn't need a tune but I'm still a bit leery. Also my dealer said he wouldn't put on an aftermarket exhaust without tuning. Supposedly reducing back pressure without a tune can screw up your torque.

Well looky here: (2025) Triumph Rocket 3 2500 Stage 1+ Mail-In ECU Flash Tuning | BT Moto

Who wants to be the guinea pig and report back?
Mr Penner who is the creator of free rocket custom tune has confirmed werkes installation will not affect at all. There has been threads about this here but they go back 2+ years ago. :)

As the ECU is a learning ECU, as long as the O2 sensor is in place, it will adapt to the pipe. That being said, the Storm has both a 2nd sensor (for Euro 5+ compliance), and a locked ECU, so if the Werkes does NOT accommodate the 2nd sensor they should probably not advertise it as suitable for the Storm.

EDIT: Apparently the US market did NOT get the 2nd sensor in the initial Storm run (use those old parts if you can I suspect) so you might be ok depending which version you ended up with.

I've been ogling that exhaust since even before I bought my Rocket a little over a year ago and the only other option I'd consider is the Meerkat core sample treatment but this system does sound and look nice. I would need to put something on the opposite side though to cover the gaping hole that is now where the cat used to be. Has anyone found cover plates or such?

I have this for sale, OEM zard Carbon fiber part left side cover ( in the red circle), never installed, never used, sitting in OEM packaging and box, screenshot taken from youtube video from reference.

You sir are absolutely correct about that second o2 sensor
that second sensor has to read a clean up of the gases or it will set a code i think i have said this b4 but no one has paid any attention.
