He only got there in august I think, staying for a year. I have never been to NZ and unless he moves there permanently I probably wont visit. I would like to but its just an awfully long trip...
I'm from The UK originally, been here 17 years now, brought my ZRX1100 with me. Great country to tour around on a bike. I've done the UK trip several times and it is indeed a long haul to get here, doesn't any easier over time!
They moved the date by 3 weeks due to the Bert Munro Challenge being shifted to first weekend in February. That's 6.5 hours from home so heading to that one too.
The Triumph rally I will going for a day trip only.
The Awatere Valley road is bad enough on the tar seal let alone where it turns to goat track. 2.3 litres of awesomeness and a gravel track for 187 ks does not thrill me!lol
But I will look into it and let you know.
Still can't track down a heel toe shifter, might look into a longer toe shaft on the oe changer if I can't find one.
