Hi All...just ordered (pick it up this Friday) a new 2008 R3 Classic - Blue/Silver


I've also ordered some accessories:
  • Coloured flyscreen
  • Givi hard cases - with Easy Brackets
  • Givi top case with back rest
  • Tall Sissy bar with luggage rack
  • Triumph exhaust upgrade kit
  • Triumph slash cut accessory mufflers
  • Uni-filter pods
  • TuneBoy
That'll have to do for starters because I'm now broke

Welcome to the site be careful on the new bike you might be a little surprised at how fast she'll get up and go! Cars in front get big quick. Thank god for good brakes!

Sounds like you've gotten into this thing right off the bat. That's the spirit....... the one with the most "Bling" wins!

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I have to admit to thinking about this purchase for a while now and have been lurking around the forum for the last week or so.
So I have to thank you all for all the great advise I've been reading.

The accessories are also relevant to a lot of the posts and photos here.

I'll post some pics when I've taken delivery of the bike and when I get the accessories sorted

Lester: Welcome aboard and I do mean aboard if it keeps raining the way it has been. Good thing my Rocket's got a
periscope to help out here in the wet state of Mass.

Raise perscope ahead 1/3.
 
Welcome! And, just in case you have big feet. Please be mindful of my Paul Stanley signature riding cape. Footprints are a bear to get out.
 
Welcome! I like that blue/silver color scheme. Sounds like you dove in big in the accessories market!.. I started off with just a plain black Rocket with a fly screen..
