Hex bits

This is new to me as I always had honda. Metric sockets. All size sockets fit on my 3/8th drive. On the pic, the hex bits show the larger socket that goes on the drive for the 3 hex bits ONLY. The next smaller socket is used for the rest of the hex bits. But I need another drive to fit it, a smaller one! This makes no sense to me. Normal? Just how it is I guess.

Odd set, but I have several 1/4" drive. Always for smaller sockets, small drive is naturally torque limiting.

And that sure is a blurry photo -- sure you could do better.

Second the comment about 1/4" drive for smaller bits.

Photo looks perfectly clear to my eyes. Expand if needed maybe?
Yeah, need a 1/4 drive, seemed odd but this is new to me. Thanks.
 
I have several adaptors that work from big to smaller. My sets usually come with that though.
