Another Aussie welcome. We need pics so we can steal, I mean review your ideas.
 
Welcome to the forum. Kievit nice looking Rocket I like how you did the back fender, is it still the same taillight ? That you just built around it? And geat colour for the Rocket and nice fly screen did you make that your self?
 
1olbull - answer to your question: "Do you wear wooden boots when you ride?" = sure! .....we all do in Holland..shifting gear on wooden boots becomes the ultimate experience!...be sure to trie it one time!
 
Canecorso. My Frontfender is a polyester english-made thing. The backfender is a highwayhawk-product. I welded the housing of the taillight on it and then bought 2 cheap china-made led strips to make it work. The Fly screen is a painted turned upside-down screen of a supersportbike. Found it in the garbage. My exhaust is garbage material as well. I welded the "in-between" system/box out of stainless steel trays that were dumped at my tennis club. See the picture ...........Every part has its own story.
