cheers bro, well the 14 was too fast anyway, was going to get me in trouble but the worst thing was it gave me a sore neck - too old for that riding position I guess. Always liked the R3's but especially the recent models with less chrome, the more blacked out the more I like them
cheers Micky, I'm going to go check it out tomorrow. Everyone I talk to that has one raves about them, they seem indestructible mechanically and i haven't seen any broken down on the roadside yet!
hi there ha, I'm in the waikato almost, thames coast! haven't actually bought that r3 yet but I have that crazy feeling you get when you know what is going to happen. I d get that "wrong in many ways" idea - sensible bikes, cars, whatever are all good if that's what you are about but they have no spirit. I like wrong things, will look you up when i get me that beast
Welcome from Oz, dunno if you would have seen the old 1970s Aunty Jack Aussie tv comedy in Enzed. But to me an R3 is the Aunty jack of motorcycles, Aunty Jack used to say "come here my lovelies and I will rip your bloody arms off". Rockets definately like testing arm sockets. Either way you go, have fun looking and test riding.
actually no haven't seen that but i will search it out, probably be on youtube or somewhere, arm sockets, yes i know what you mean...it's sounding good!
