Hi, purchased my used, new to me 08 R3T in October with a whopping 1700 miles on the odometer from the Victory dealer here in town. He took it in on a trade and now its mine all mine. I was a BMW rider for a long time, sold my K1200LT to buy the Triumph, and have been interested in Triumph's since they made their comeback in the early 90's. While I liked the Rocket III when I test rode it, there were too many things I couldnt get past looks wise for me to buy one. Well that all changed with the Touring model. I know its a bit staid and boring for some, but remember I came off of a BMW touring bike. Anyway Ive been lurking around this site for some time and decided to finally register.

Any other northern Illinois Rocket pilots on this board?

It's contagious, I bought one (05 Rocket III) last summer and can hardly wait for nice weather again. Oh, by the way, from Wilmington.
