Just picked up a new Rocket III Roadster... Love it. Got suckered into the deal when I was taking one of my other bikes in for service and got a R3T for a loaner.

I also have:

MY10 MV Agusta F4
2007 Ducati Monster S4RS

I spent my whole life on cruisers, switched to sport bikes, and it feels good to have a cruiser again, especially riding out in the cold like yesterday.

Anyone have any experience with the heated grips for the R3C? I'm thinking I need some.

P.S. I would be very interested if anyone wanted to swap their classic foot peg mounts for the Roadster ones. I understand it can be a bit involved.

Thanks

leigh.

Lucky you getting 'suckered' into buying a Roadster .. maybe stay away from life insurance salesmen and time-share promoters :D Welcome from Australia.... Sucker :D

Honey I'm home. Yeah, dropped the bike in for a service but guess what? While I was there they told me I needed a new bike.. And all they had was the largest production bike on the planet. Oh we'll, I'm stuck with it now. :(:D

Love it. Welcome from Downunder.

Heated grips in Texas?????

Welcome from San Antonio area.. Yes.. it's cold here!.. :) I've comtemplated heated grips at times but never got them. We only have to worry about the next 5-6 weeks.. and even then, there will be warm days in between..

It fricken snowed here today... climate change huh?

@Tomcat: Suckered might be a harsh word cause I'm totally in love with the thing. Riding my F4 -- it's like -- Richard Hammond said it best about the old Lambos: "This is a [bike] that you just know is trying to kill you." The R3R is just a pleasure and all I have to worry about is everyone else trying to kill me.

I'll be in ANZ in late feb, on tour, Perth, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, 2 weekends in brisbane riding with local friends, and my pals from the MV club there -- Last time all I could find to hire was like a 700 Naked Ninja (or whatever they call them, don't exist in the states) know where I could get a proper bike, (sport or cruiser?)
