Welcome from Germany (by way of Mississippi)!
You'll find this group to be a little more friendly than most "help desk public forums. Real rocket enthusiasts and a family atmosphere! Thus, the introductions seems like they're constantly adopting more and more of us
Welcome to the Forum from Sunny South Florida. However, you CANNOT be 25 - you'll pull down the average age of the Forum too much. So, we'll simply reverse the digits and PRESTO, you're now 52, MUCH better!
I have the Harbor Freight Lift but can't figure out how to balance the bike on it. Did you modify your lift, or place one arm under the center stand attach points and the other under the sump?,
I use it as is. I just find the balance point and lift. It's not attached to the bike in any way. I've even used the lift to move the bike sideways once it was up. Never had any issue.
I do have the Roadster, but I don't think the Touring can be that much different underneath since it's the same motor.
Cost less than $20 (not counting the tie downs), although I did have some of it lying around, and can put it virtually anywhere - I guess even in the back of a trailer if necessary.
