new to here got a question for you i ride a r3t 2015 at 5 k miles my front tire is wearing out i read on another site there may be a issue with alignment and /or the front bearing can anyone advise me on this

I have a 2015 R3T approaching 5000 miles also and I cannot tell you the tire is worn out. I will tell you have have not liked the Metz since I got the bike and they are both going this winter. (winter a cold season with white stuff falling from the sky north of Florida)

These are heavy bikes and tire pressure is very important. (I normally run 2 pounds over)

Pictures would really help. See how they are wearing.

If the bike is that new I would think I would take it in to the dealer and make sure everything was set up properly.

I have been through the torque setting on mine and would highly recommend it to others.

if it has metz tire they r going to wear bad.
research the tire threads to see what others r running
 
Welcome, 5k is about average because Metz are crap. 5k is I changes mine, cupped all over and I check my pressure before every ride.

Yup...Metz are only on there to get your ride home, after that change them. I’ll be changing mine on my R3T to the Excedra Max, front and rear this winter.
