Heat shield screw / bolt... need replacement
Had the same bolt go missing on my 2011 R3R. I just ordered at my dealer, only took a week to get in.
For some reason on my bike (and maybe on yours), the 2 bolts that hold that specific cover on are Not polished and are 4mm Allen wrench while the other covers are 5mm. When my New bolts came in, they were 5mm Allen wrench Polished. Yet they were all M6 thread bolts. I think it just all comes down to what's available when they build the bike. A touch of thread Lock fluid should keep them on until I want them off.
 
Tell your local dealer, they shouldn't fall out!
Should be replaced under warranty.
