Headset Communications

The scala G9x http://www.cardosystems.com/motorcycles/scala-rider-g9x/1
combined with the iAsus Diablo amp http://www.soundrite.net/headset/diablo_amp.html
coupled with the iAsus xsound2 speakers http://www.soundrite.net/headset/xsound2-description.html
and iAsus NT3 throat Michttp://www.soundrite.net/headset/nt3blkops2-description.html
pretty much guarantee you the best sound and voice clarity you can get in a helmet.

All you have to add is a little mirror ball and it's like being in the middle of a nightclub.... maybe not quite but its ***in good.

Scala g9 guy hear... If you have someone you know that already has a headset. I would check out what brand they have so you can talk with each other. Since I was the first guy in the area - we've all had to go Scala so we can talk. With that said - never have been disappointed.

They're all now talking about connecting to each other (the brands). The new Sena 20 will connect to Scalas and others already.

The sens 10 will connect to any as well I think the uclear will to I love the sens 10 waiting on the 20 to get here love the sena as do the wife and my dad if your looking for great quilety and ez set up long battery this is it or the only one I have had so my be thats is why I like it but has been trouble free and ez to connect to other units

I used the older Scala 2 for years till the deer wiped me (and it) out. I now ride with the Scala G9 and I'm pretty happy with its function. For full disclosure though, I did have to return mine for a replacement. (Took 4 days to get the new one back). I ride at times in heavy rain since I don't know any better and even though the device is water resistant. Something must have gotten wet inside and i lost the right speaker. No worries, they replaced the unit right away and I'm about to ride to Sturgis in the morning to test it out along the way.

I also have a Scala and it made funny beeping noises and the rider to rider communications were net very good (my brother also bought one). We both went with Sena and are much happier.
Just our two experiences.

Another vote for the Scala G9. The battery seems to last an awfully long time and the set up is easy. I think most of the top of the line brands are pretty good; just depends on what is on sale. I know Scala streams music from my smart phone, but others probably do too.

I tested the battery of the UClear on my trip to Montrose. Had 10-11 hours of the GPS and GPS music. Was amazed at the battery life on a full charge.

With a headset you have to listen to the wife screaming "OMG" "Slow Down!" "We are gonna die!" etc

Not my wife, she usually tells me to speed up and overtake the car in front of me so she can feel the acceleration from the Rocket. I love that woman.
