Hans recently convinced me to try a Dunlop Elite 3 on the front of my roadster instead of the usual Avon Cobra. After a few hundred kilometres today I've got to say it was a great choice. The Avon front and Bridgestone rear have always been a great combo for me but the Dunlop just feels better. Effortless turn in, smooth ride and great handling. It's early days but so far I'm seriously impressed. I usually get about 17,000 kilometes from the Avon so it will be interesting to see how the Dunlop wears.

Thanks again Hans. I'll send cake.

Be interested in how they last

I actually found it to last longer and does not go off towards the end of it life as others do, the last one I am ashamed to admit I wore well past the wearbar indicators, something I never normally do as I have found they (other tyres) usually start to loose feel and get sketchy when pushed after they are worn past wear indicators, it still felt good to the last km, when I tried the Avon front I was disappointed as while it felt secure it felt dead with not enough feed back for me to feel confident enough to push it in the twisties and I got just on 9,000km out of it, the Dunlop Elite 3's have given me 10,000 +, if fact that last one was almost 12,000 and on it last ride I took it thru Kangaroo Valley in a rather fun time ride (also known as a spirited run) and it never looked like slipping or stepping out

Tippy Toey???
Does this have something to do with your flip-flops? :p
Ha Ha Funny Krunt, cheeky sh1t :p ........ it's a feeling you get when it feels like it going out from under you if you make anything short of a tentative movement, like your standing on the edge of a cliff:rolleyes:
