Handle bar question

In a former life I was an Indian Motorcycle dealer (2000-2003). What I found to be a great selling feature of the Chief especially was the interior routed wires through the handle bar. It provided a super clean look...only brake, throttle and clutch cables are visable. All but the custom builders route all wires and cables externally.

The huge mash of wires especially on the left bar (while seated) looks farmer John (sorry to any Farmers named John).

I love the geometry of the STD bar. I'd love to hide the mass of wires...

Anyone done this?

Been there done that. Not too bad a job, just takes time, patience and good notes. I did use a set of 10/10 fat bars 1.25" with the holes already in place however. I do like the look, especially sitting in my warm garage with the freezing temps outside
