Well, after 25,200 miles I replaced the GY F1 245/50R16.

It probably had another 2-3K of tread life left but I was going 5-7K
on this trip to the Rockies, Yellowstone & Sturgis from NY so didn't
want to push it.

I switched to the Toyo 245/55R16 and it is a better handling tire.

I ordered a 235 but didn't notice the error until 2 days before the trip when I had it put on but the look is gnarly anyways and I like it.

The larger diameter did throw off my odometer but I'm in the process of correcting that with TB.

Great! I figure $800 savings minimum; over the course of 25k miles based on 8k max on my Metz's. For me it's not simply a matter of $800. The matter of frequency of changing and the fret associated with a maypop OEM tire, down to thin skinned, are worth much more to me.
