After a year of umming and ahhing I've finally gone and done it...chopped in my Speed Triple and the beast was delivered yesterday. Haven't been out on it yet and probably won't for a while as its p*ssing it down here in the uk...guess I'll just sit out in the garage and give it a cuddle.

So...I'm looking for decent indoor breathable dust cover as the one I used for the S3 is waaay to small. Any folks here able to recommend anything in the uk? Also I have the matte black finish...dealer has recommended cleaning with soapy water but I was just wondering if anybody uses anything on the paintwork to protect against the likes of bird lime etc...

Cheers,

Paul

Hey Paul welcome from Brisbane Australia, congrats on your new bike. As for covers I use an Oxford Storm cover and it has stood up to a few Brisbane storms which are about as nasty as you can get (outside of cyclones of course). Mine has only faded from our strong UV here other than that I am pretty happy with it. As for paintwork, give her a good waxing (I only use Meguirs products) and after a wash, wipe her down with Meguirs Quick Wax, after that not much will stick. If you get bird poo on it I just hit it with the Quick Detailer.

Hello Paul and welcome from Virginia. I keep my bike outside as I do not have a garage. My cover of choice is the biggest DOWCO. It has been in service for 2 years now and still works well. The picture is the cover being cleaned off by my Pretty Pillion.
Not sure about washing a bike, I just ride in the rain to knock the big chunks off.
