Ive been reading alot about the bad & good experiences some of you have had with Triumph dealers. Not just on this forum but on other forums as well.
Its a bit worrisome to me to not know if the dealer I am buying a bike from is reliable and honest or not.
Seems like a lot are not from what I am reading.
I am mostly concerned about after purchase warranty or repair issues.
Would it be a good idea to post on here the name of a dealer and get an opinion from the members here?
Or just take it as a bad learning experience if I do get ripped off?
NOTE***By the way I buy all my bikes from the U.S. so where I live is irrelevant.

Positive comments should be fine but I think we'd need to be careful about public naming and shaming here. Even bad dealers get it right sometimes and good ones make mistakes. Also, being honest doesn't mean they aren't going to be incompetent - a lot of problems are due to individuals and not fairly blamed on the business as a whole.

Why not post the dealer's name and see if anyone has an experience they can share with you - in a PM if necessary.

I don't have a problem with it .... L&D Suzuki/Triumph In Dover Delaware is a good place to buy but not a good place to get service.

Ok then, seeing it seems ok, has anyone had any experience with either of these 2 dealers in Western New York.
Bucks Motorsports & Canandaigua Motorsports
good or Bad?

I have no experience with the dealer in Philly, but the owner answered my email personally inviting me to visit. Have to respect that.

Buck's is really quite nice. Ask around-I think any WNY rider will tell you they are happy with them. Frank in Service really knows his stuff.

I've seen many Canadians there over the past several years-some have become friends and/or riding buds. Guess I'm pleased with them-I've purchased 5 new Triumph bikes there-and no, I'm not rich!

Manyunk Triumph here in Philadelphia has given me very good service. It is a Triumph only dealer and one of the first ones in the U.S. The main thing we as Triumph owners should not forget is that the beasts we own are a rare breed so parts are always in short supply. This seems to be the main complaint about service departments in the U.S. WE ARE NOT RIDING HARLEYS OR HONDAS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:rolleyes:. Ask any Ducati owner if the dealer they purchased a bike from had parts in stock, and how quick the turn around is for service on their machines.

Hellfire, thanks for the info about the Delaware dealership...
I live in central NJ, and just bought an expensive Cervelo road bicycle from a dealer in De... Saved a thousand dollars (!) over buying from these profit- crazy crooks here in the Garden State.

Buying in Delaware is part of my plan.
Thanks
