I'm just too young (60ish) to surrender to a Geezer Glide... yet, that is!

Glad your happy RJ I owned a Green one some years ago very comfortable but it was too bulky for me especially loaded 2up.. enjoy mate look forward to hearing from you..
 
Get a honda civic

When I was doing all of the research to replace my Street Glide and my ST1300, I looked at all the bikes. I knew the Goldwing was a quality Honda M/C, but all of the plastic was just too much. So I went out and bought a Honda Civic. Just kidding. I wanted a bike like the Road King with a removable windshield. I ended up with my Rocket. And like it.
 
Would i own one???
Hell yes!! That is on my list for the near future
 
Floor boards

The one thing I "did not" like about the Goldwing was the foot peg position and the lack of floor boards. Now I know 50% here like the foot pegs and 50% like floor boards. One of the problems I had riding my ST1300 was the foot peg position. My knees would start to hurt within 100 miles.

Now on my Street Glide, the forward floor boards were way comfortable for me. That is why I like my R3T. I sat on a new Roadster and it felt like my ST. So. When I sat on a new 011 Goldwing, I said to myself. Self,,,this feels way too much like the peg position on my ST. Plus I just could not do the plastic. But I will say, every wing rider I have EVER spoken with absolutely LOVES them. I have heard they are way smooth at 100MPH all day long if you ride like that. Just saying,,,,,.

That my friend is a very nice bike!

Just please tell us that you will not wear yellow shorts and white Golf shoes when you ride it! I have seen soooo many wing riders dressed like that in Palm Springs! It makes me want to pull over and puke when I see them!!!!!!!!!!!!
