I'm riding up early as hell, gates open at 0730, racing starts at 1000. I want to get teched as early as I can.

Well keep part of an eye out!
If the weather is OK, I may just choke and puke my $hit TPS out there to watch the festivities.
Arrival would be 10 - 11 AM.
 
There is another way - A nice stretch of 4 lane unrestricted Autobahn - one specific stretch of the A555 twixt Köln and Bonn springs to mind.
Often seen all sorts of full chat runs there. Don't often see Ferrari's hitting rev limiters but.....
You can't legally RACE - but you can legally thrash the nuts of it and use a timer.
