Givi top case on R3R

Mine was brand new , from china but works well and looks ok on the bike .

Does it hold a lot of load? If I put 10 kg of load into it, as it often happens during travel, will it not fall off at 160 kmph?? The fixing looks like Givi monolock which is designed for max 3 kg of load.

This is my setup - GPZ1100 wingrack adapted with home made brackets. The wing parts were a perfect fit!

With a spare plate to mount just the rear case to the standard rack.

Mate i swaped the bolt and knob that holds it to the rack for a nut and bolt so it can't come off its mounting plate . Also i made sure the mounting plate was held in place on my rack with good brackets and bolts . 10kg would not be a issue ,its not built for lots of weight but works for me . If i get to the stage of liking the look and want to keep it i will just buy a better stronger quality brand if it starts to crack or fail in any way . But so far so good.

Hi, I have a few questions:

- Is the stock laggage rack strong enough for this topcase?

- I want to order it and the alu rack and to install it onto my stock luggage rack. Do you this I will be able to do so?

- This one I have already. Looks weak to me. Is it in fact?

I used one of their universal mounts. I'm 1000 miles from home but will see if I can hunt down or get a picture.
