Just saying hello and G'day from a not so sunny Hamilton New Zealand.
Not a bad day today, took a day off and a took advantage of the first sunny day in a couple of weeks and rode over to the west coast and had fish and chips (or "fush and chups"!!).
Great to be free to ride with the wind in our faces eh??
G'day Ned. Have your Rocket long? The weather this time of year downunder is still pretty fresh but when it's good it's bloody brilliant. Got a few Kiwis on here but not too many still over there. Welcome aboard.
A Kiwi called Ned Kelley you sure ??.... Welcome from sunny Queensland anyway mate.
Don't mind my suspicion Ned but i've known quite a few Kiwi bikies over the years and everyone of them has had a pretty wicked sense of humour ( especially when it comes to taking the mickey out of us aussies )
Canberra3; I have had this Roadster since May. Best bike I have ever owned. Just turning over 7000km so have managed to get out and about. Weather has not been too bad, just wet which is not unusual this side!! I have visited Canberra a few times. My daughter was at uni there. Enjoyed the city and the local day rides out and back.
TOMCAT; Ned is a name my maternal Grandmother gave me as a boy because I reminder her of her brother, Edward/Ned!! So I really am Ned Kelley...no piss taking.
NZ is on our ' must do list '.... we would love to have a look around over there. The South Island looks like motorcycling heaven , been told it's very similar to Tasmania. Also heard there's a fair few Rockets and V-Rods over there these days.
Welcome fellow kiwi, great site/great people mate.you will find some real characters here and all you will ever need to know about your rocket.Hamilton huh? did you escape the ash fallout from the Tongariro eruption?
