Just started an extension on my garage so will be thinking about the fit out soon. I was looking at putting an epoxy floor down, but your tiles look the dogs bo**ocks. I will emulsion the Walls White then go from there. I will post some pics when it is complete. They are just on the foundations for the moment. I am leaving them to it while I go over to the Isle of Man for the Manx GP. Tacking the Ducati though.
I hope you don't mind, but I have highjacked your idea and will be tiling my garage floor when the extension is complete. Using black, White and red tiles in a different pattern. I will post some photo's when it is done.

Hijack away, I like pictures and we we all like seeing new and different ways to do things. If I was pouring a new garage floor I would make my bike lift flush with the floor.
Love your tiled garage floor. I would like to do the same thing and looked into the Griots Garage porcelain tiles but they are quite expensive. Would you mind sharing what you used and where they might be purchased? I am pretty handy but have never installed tile. Did you have previous experience or just jumped in and gave it a go? Also what was used to bond the tile to the floor, it looks like there is no grout between the tiles? You did a great job and it looks excellent. Thanks in advance for sharing information. Doug
I used through body class 4 porcelain I special ordered from my local tile store. This is the tile they recommended due to the heavy load it would see daily. My concrete garage floor was in great shape, all I did was pressure wash it before starting the tile work. I used a thinset with Polymer Modified Mortar also recommended by my local tile store. I spoke with one of the installers at the tile store and he told me to butter the back of each tile due to the load and I wouldn't have any problems. The tile is also use in automotive showroom without any issues. I have the normal two car garage 20ftX20ft and it cost me $1500.00 in materials for the tile, thinset and sanded grout with built in sealer. Keep in mind that I got the tile at half price because I conned a coworker into doing his garage and got the half price discount if I ordered a pallet of tile. The tile has been down for almost 6 months and I've had no issues. My coworker dropped a vise from work bench level and chipped a tile (very small chip). The wife's car goes in and out daily. I have a bike lift and floor jacks I use with no issues. I've spilled oil and it wipes up clean. This porcelain does not even absorb water and it's not slick when wet which was very important. It was a lot of work but I'd do it over again. No more tracking concrete dust into the house and its so easy to clean. Yes I've done a lot of tile work but it's easy just take your time. Grout lines are 3/16
The extension is an addition to the size of the garage. I will cheat with the tiles as my son is a tiler by occupation. The floor is the same level as the rest as I am only adding 2 metres to my double garage. Now 25x17ft. Double garages are aller in the UK. Mine is only for bikes and bike related equipment so the loading will be relatively low, but the floor will be screeded then the tiles laid to ensure full undertile coverage. Should only be a few weeks to finish, but may be held up due to holidays next week. I have to go, it to celebrate 30 years of wedded bliss. She does put up with my obsession so I guess that's close to bliss!!!
I started redoing my garage. I installed 7 workshop lights, and in the process of putting in porcelain tile. Painting the walls will be last. It's been a long overdue remodel!!
very smart yet expensive way to keep the peace.. you should be able to smoke a 911 during acceleration anytime .I did once.last year north of munich on a german autobahn made me feel just tickled pink but scared the beejeesezz out of me
