G’day all... advice on high mileage R3 sought please

'04 Better than 100,000k, replaced the TPS otherwise still as it came, except for Viking Exhaust, DEcosse keyless, Mc Cruise, Hepco and Becker bags, Ramair, OzClaw and footboards. I did put the longer/stronger cam chain spring in - just because I could. Friends and family are impressed when I hook it up to a laptop to tune ..... that has been a very enjoyable learning curve. Just keeps eating the road up .... I only ride it distances .... very occasionally to work. I love the bikes rattles and pops and dare I say, its personality. I have come to the conclusion that all Rockets develop their own characteristics which may, strangely, mimic their riders style.
I live in a village outside of Orange NSW, where the ride to work is only 9k, no traffic lights, one stop sign, just too short a distance to get it out and I have other bikes to ride.
Don't hesitate in buying one .... they are a great and forgiving bike that will give you hours of pleasure on the road and in the shed.

I have an 05 with 65,000. Have changed clutch, and put on a set of silicone cooling hoses, and of course tires. That's all. It's my favorite ride. Also have a 2013, that has around 24,000, and nothing done to it, cept tires.

Unfortunately I can't make it. I'm in Massachusetts this week. I would love to be there.

Cheers for taking the time to compose such a detailed helpful reply

G’day Mr Idaho Sir.

Not been there .. but Co... not too far away. Met great Idaho’ans in Co. Actually, the son of Elgin Gates, who founded metallic silhouette handgun shooting ....

Tge R3 is a 2008 classic. Red and cream two tone. Black engine. Price is unknown yet.

Will be the R3 and some cash, for my Tbird Sport. Very very rare in OZ, only 12 in my colour.

Mine is worth $13k any day of the week here.

Thoughts on asking price for 2008 R3C, with bars, bags, corbin solo seat, ram air, madazz exhausts (which I don’t like, will be off and on with Dave Platt system), and 76k kms ... abt 50,000 miles?
