Fuel Tank Upgrade
Well he's in Australia, so that's only ~$2300 USD. Not much more than they want for a brand new stock tank. I'd say not a terrible deal. I've got a dented tank sitting in my garage. Maybe I'll find a local shop that would be willing to tackle this. I wouldn't mind the extra range!
 
...... or how about a Hillbilly solution - swap one of the panniers for a 5 gallon Jerry can and connect it up to the fuel pump!!
Loads of extra range!!
