front tires


Nothing but Avon Cobra for me. The last set got over 12,000 miles on the front and over 10,000 miles on the back.

I shall be going back to the Cobra up front when the Azaro dies.
WAIT - maybe not so . . . I may just try a Pirelli 140/75VR17 Night Dragon first.
So many tires - so little time . . .

I've experienced and heard others say they don't like the Pirelli. Hard rubber and doesn't give confidence in the curves.

I have a new dunlop elite on the front and it is ok but I liked the azaro better. I still have one in spare it will be the replacement for the elite currently in indiana making my way to spearfish.. have already added about 6000 miles since i LEFT HOME ON JUNE 15 was trying to swing by michigan to hook up with Bob but weather precluded that at least I have seen Jake Shaw new R3T at his place on P.E.I very very nice.
 

11 days left before we leave - lots left to do - must kick it in high gear pretty soon!

11 days ..that does not give you much room for mistakes or mechanicals!!!! BTW
what is the difference between a mushroom and a bartender??
