The book says to remove and discard the disc securing bolts. Is that necessary and why.Trying to clean front rims and its difficult to get behind the disc's.

As long as they look good i reuse everything except head bolts .

I've always reused the disc bolts.....but you have to really clean the bolt threads and reapply threadlocker.

Yep, no problem re-using them as long as you re-apply threadlock
