I believe I have convinced the wife to upgrade her v-star custom to a third. Just has to wait until after the move.

Maybe you will be like me ... the R3T is like a well thrown boomerang in my experience. Toss it away, and before you can say "Bob's my uncle," there it is, back again.

I traded my first one on a BMW K1600GTL. I bought a second one 10 months later. That K16 only lasted 7 or 8 months, and I was tired of it within a month of ownership.

I traded the second one on a new ABS equipped R3T.

I traded the third one on a Kawasaki Vaquero. I like the Vaquero, but now, just two months later, the fourth R3T is sitting in its reserved parking place in my garage.
