Don't need them but the pockets are quite deep and the leather pocket with clip holds my I-Phone6 with room to spare

Controller is now in a water proof box, I'll see if I can copy a photo from instructions

No it was just basic unit and unfortunately it was not mine but give me time and I will get one

I just uploaded pics of the new controller box (see the thread link in my signature)
It's slightly bigger but all the connections are now inside and the box and the wiring is much more water resistant

Note also the details in the thread - the biggest culprit of water incursion is actually the OEM clutch switch.

The answer to that question taken literally would be 'Yes'. However that current is next to nothing in armed mode. (<1mA)

Note that it is not a key-less start system, it is key-less ignition system.
