Finally the pics of my new T-Bird

You're welcome Dennis. Sorry for the blurry first pic. I'm not known for my photography skills.

I will give you a lesson on photography, pay attention;;

1- Hold the camera steady.
2-push the button.
3-relax, you are done

I'm thinking the same thing

I love the paint on my wifes PRH Thunderbird.

The T-bird I got to sit on at the dealer was hands down THE MOST comfortable bike I've ever sat on that I didn't have a chance to customize for myself. It took a lot of alterations to make my R3 fit, but I was motivated by the power it had to make it work. If the T-Bird had been sitting next to the R3 the day I bought it ... I'd probably be trying to figure out how to get a Bird to wheelie. lol

It's gonna be a nice ride and I wish I had one as a second. That **** color is phenomenal, I was trying to decide on a scheme for mine and after seeing the red brushed in with the black ... that would be an easy way to go to get the look I like. I'm gonna use that phantom red as a palate for my tins when the time (and money) comes. It's more red than I want on the tank, but that rear fender is perfecto.

Btw Dennis,

Julie ask me to let you know she (at your request) spoke with the airbrush guy. He can't make it to the shop before mid January, but it won't be a problem to airbrush "Panty Boy Dennis" in gold metal flake on the rear fender.

Ah, you guys have stolen everything else off of the bike...just go ahead and take my pride too......

Didn't I warn you against leaving on the showroom floor?

Now take your medicine.

Thanks BoogerDave...my time is getting closer to actually seeing it live and I agree on the paint scheme.

I have had four of my bikes that were a black/red combo...when done right they look phenomenal (1986 Virago 1100, 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500, 2007 Triumph Rocket Classic and now this Thunderbird).

I am going to have to see about getting the R3T done in the same color scheme if possible if/when I get it. I doubt Triumph will do that on it's own for the R3T.

Dennis I have not seen your bike yet, I will try and make a trip to D&Ds this week to leave my mark or scent on your nice new shiny bike.
Dennis do you want me to take your bike to Maggie Valley to break it in for you?
