Finally saw one

Went to the big city after work today and saw the Roadster in both colors and got to hear one. They sound great and the dealer told me that D&D is in the process of buliding a set of shorter pipes for the Roadster. D&D is based in Ft. Worth. The pipes are big, but I could live with them. I still want one but you know what they say, "want in one hand and sh#t in the other and see which one fills up first".
 
If I'd had a helmet, I could have test drove one. If this dealer would have offered me a helmet, maybe he could have sold me three motorcycles in less than four years like my current dealer (who loaned me and my wife a helmet) has.
 
Triumph has decided that after years of record breaking sales in Canada, they love us enough to say that one Roadster per dealership per year is plenty. I understand that the Calgary stock sold out in about 5 minutes.

I suspect it will be a few years before I get to see one in person.
 
ride?

hey snuff,
did you get to ride one yet? was wondering how much better the snort is than a standard or classic... they say it's stronger.

I didn't get to ride one. The price was $13,999. Think I'll keep what I got and start dreaming of a Speed Triple
