Exhausts

Spaghetti headers are nothing new, theres only so many places to lay the pipes to keep the legnth equal. Saying they are copies is not accurate. I think they are BOTH cool!
 
What gains are made between the stock header and a performance header, both using same exhaust pipe, most likely open
 
For What Its Worth & Just My Humble Opinion,

Unless you know enough to actually challenge something @Claviger has stated and can show where/how he is incorrect, these attacks toward @Claviger are very unwarranted and unfair.
I know Rob. He is very intelligent and eager to learn.
I also know bull$hit when I hear it and question it. This can not be accomplished on a forum.
Rob is always willing to help another forum member and he has, many times.
I know for a fact he has ridden/driven over 60 miles to forum member's homes and spent hours helping them - many times.
He knows his stuff and impressed a known guru in the motor business enough to get a job tuning.
I would recommend you do not mistake exuberance and relative youth for BS unless you can show, discuss and pinpoint the mistake.
Tis amazing to me that you prefer the dribble and drool of a known BS master and negative PITA over one who is trying to be the best tech he can be.

I totally agree. He is ALWAYS helping others with their problems both on and off this site. Additionally he constantly experiments with different options to plus up the performance of our bikes and posts results here on site. Those of you who don't like it, ignore it and get over it!

This Rocket community is inportant to me. I am sure it is to the others as well.

Ive been a mechanic all my life. That doesnt mean I dont learn things here. Quite the contrary.

People are passionate about motorcycles (among other things). And because this forum isnt a face to face conversation, things can be taken out of context easily.

I feel that some here are confusing exuberance for arrogance. Ive received help from many members on this site, and I appreciate all of your thoughtful feedback.

It just bums me out when people take themselves too seriously, and create unnecessary drama.

Ask yourselves this question:

Would you prefer to hear, "Carpenter, Carpenter, Carpenter.......", "Who cares if you want dual exhaust, you're stupid cause Carpenters is better." Why do you need THAT on your bike, if Carpenter doesn't make our, it's dumb and you shouldn't bolt it on your bike! "

OR

"Hey, here are these two similar exhausts by two different companies one after the other on the same bike and dyno. Oh, BTW , here's the dyno sheets for you to look at.", " This is what I'm planning on doing to my bike, and here's some pics to show what what I'm doing, and how it worked out."


Only reason, I won't block IMFASTTOO is because I want to see what else Art can possibly contribute to Carpenter. Maybe they start making footpegs that will add 15 HP....
 
Boys, knock it off. We are brothers and sisters of different times. Let's ALL grow together and learn together. Thanks Rob, Scott, and everyone else that has an interest in this wonderful machine
