Anybody out there ever put roadster exhaust on a standard r3? I really like the roadster pipe look and am curious as to what it takes if its do-able. Thanks, Jim

Any thing is possible but if you do make sure you remove your existing cat box if you have not already as the stock Roadster pipes has the cats in the exhaust pipes
Thanks, I am running tors pipes with a dave platt delete box under the bike now. I like the sound but really would like one pipe on each side like the roadster has. I didn't know the stock roadster pipes were fitted with cats though. I may have to find another set up.

Seems to me there can't be much that would hold you back on doing it. The Roadster has a ABS solenoid box under there that the exhaust has to go around in which classics don't have. Like it would be much harder to put a classic exhaust on a Roadster for example. You will need the cross over, TORs mufflers, exhaust mounting hardware. Go for the TORs instead of the standard mufflers. The standard mufflers have catalytic converters in them.... they get VERY hot and don't sound as good as the TORs.

Weigh the options.... you might can get a CES, Viking, Reband, exhaust for a little bit more money or the same. Remember a good flowing header is what you want.

Some say the Roadster exhaust doesn't look "Triumph" as the older exhaust.... but Triumph changed it for some reason and that reason it looks better.
