After trying to purchase a small diameter stainless steel header, I am thinking about having one fabricated locally. I need the header flanges to weld the primaries to, but cannot find any. Does anyone know if the header flanges off the Triumph Sprint or the Speed Triple will fit the Rocket? They look identical to the Rocket, are fairly inexpensive on Ebay, and they seem to be the correct shape to weld the primaries to.

you could ask the seller on ebay for the dimensions. or get a used set of headers for a Rocket off ebay to hack up. or even use you own ones?

The Rocket nozzles makes an immediate 90 turn from the outlet so almost have to be welded down and back to align the pipe with the nozzle outlet. The other Triumph nozzles come straight out (not tapered rearward) at a 60 degree angle but look slightly smaller on inside diameter. I did e-mail one seller for size measurements, but got no response. As a side note, you can purchase all the curved 302 stainless steel 1.75" pipe on Ebay for $90. That should get you into a set of stainless headers with a Brock muffler for under $1,000. Only other choice for stainless are the Carpenter exhaust.
