Exhaust conundrum

Hey Chris.
I can't speak for the rest of the Platt range but if they are made nearly as well as the outlaws , they will be great !
The sound of the Outlaws is awesome and every person I have ridden with comments on their tone . At low speeds and rpm they have a sweet Burble, but wind it on and they are raucous. The fit and finish is lovely !
I have mine coupled with the 50mm Dp link pipe . I have yet to have them dynod but am planning on doing so just as soon as I am able . Being short greatly improves the snap on the throttle and they certainly give more performance than the tors . There are 4 other guys I occasionally ride with who have rockets , 2 of them have custom pipes and are supposedly tuned , the other 2 have tors and my bike smokes em all !
 
I ride with a few guys with Harleys and their open pipes , and when I fly past em my exhaust pulse and sound darn near knocks em out of their saddles !

I need to ask Dave to set me up with the 50mm link pipe probably. I have a 2007 classicwith stock pipes. I am looking forward to much better sound but certainly some performance too. I would also like to add the ram air kit and maybe Sensai @HansO will shoot me a new tune for that setup. Any tips would be appreciated Nat... Thanks buddy!
 

Also, I meant to add that the presence that is felt when you roll into a parking lot with an exhaust note that gets attention is kind of fun. I had a Vmax prior to the R3 that had a Delkavic exhaust system with a V-Boost tune that created a great idle. Being a 4 banger with 4 Mikunis made a very unique lope at idle. I do miss that. However I was telling a salesman at our newest HD dealership today that the R3 is the cat's meow and I have never looked back after purchasing the Rocket. Told him I would come test ride a new 2018 HD soon but not a buyer. I am looking forward to the new extras for the Rock!
 
I run the Ramair and pcv with custom tune .
I also have my secondaries removed and rev limiter increased to 7000 .
If fitting the outlaws along with Ramair and a Hanso tune , the only tip I can give you is to hang on tight and apologise to the neighbours in advance !
 

We are moving into a new home in a few weeks. We are gonna be way out from town and I have one neighbor about 200 yards down from us. I will politely give him a heads up.
