I really like the 3into2set up. Has anyone just taken the baffles out of the new roadster stock pipes? I did that o my old ones but these don't have any visible rivets that can be drilled that I can find....

The stock roadster pipes are all baffle , with built in cats . They have been gutted by some members but by all accounts , more trouble than it's worth !
A better bet would be a set of tors mufflers .
Definately the Carp Brutes!!!
TOO loud, even for me and I L-I-K-E loud pipes!
My CES are perfect to my taste. Rode with Abe @alpental and his Brites were deeper and about 20% louder than my CES under "normal" riding conditions.
Tors being Triumph off road . Look exactly the same as the stockers , but straight thru with no cats and a slightly larger bore diameter . Prob still not as loud as you are looking for tho !

Hey Nat,
I just emailed Dave Platt yesterday about some pricing. I think I would go with the custom twins or the custom twin shorts. How do you like yours and what kind of performance change did you get with your setup? Thanks buddy!
Chris
CES are pipes made by Custom Exhaust Specialties in Australia. They are louder than stock, and sound like a Formula 1 race car. The Brites, are a misspelled word. I think he meant the Carpenter Brutes. They are louder, and have a much deeper sound, more like a 70's muscle car. They are still not near as loud as a Harley with open pipes.
