I finally had time to get the exhaust finished up. I can't remember when and where i posted the pics of the original crossover box,,,,but it was a POS as far as flow. I am not totally happy with the outcome, but it is a major improvement over the BOX. I bought mandrel bent tubing but the real problem is the close proximity of the muf to the headpipe on the LH side. I tried a 45 but it had too much length. I wish D&D or someone would come up with something like this to solve the BOX problem. I like to keep the bike stock looking,,,,,so the generic headers-pipes don't appeal to me.

What about the third muffler?

Make it like this and you will have it made. This fits the Roadster perfectly and flows good. This is from Staintune exhaust. I assume your are dealing with a Roadster right?

no,,,,R3 touring

yeh,,,,that's nice, but won't fit the touring

wondering if??????

The angles look nearly the same as the touring, except for the LH pipe. I'll have to check and see if the LH side on the touring can go straight instead of the kickup in the middle of the pipe. Has anyone tried these pipes on a touring????

I can't tell for sure, but the pic makes it look like the RH side has a larger OD than the left side.....on the touring both pipes have the same OD. This could be just the angle the pic was taken at tho.
I like the transition on the RH side of that pipe,,,much smoother than I was able to do with what I had to work with.
