I noticed rust forming on my 05 before it was even a year old, back of chrome covers,bolts etc and I don't live any where near the ocean.also my grey motor is blistering everywhere, definitely quality control issues, although certain chemicals in cleaning products will damage this finish. Brakeclean, carb cleaner and such can damage a coating like we are experiencing. Must be careful what you use to clean and degrease this finish, on the gray motors anyway
