Engine Guards
They rub against the engine under neath...too tight..the bolt touches...
Those ones Ishrub put up there i mean...

Yeah , I have them on my R3R with some different pegs but they are a pain to tighten as the 19mm bolt head is near the block when fitted and hard to grip with spanners, socket not fit. I have a 19mm crows foot spanner now which may work better.
 

Another thing the engine guards are useful for is preventing damage when the bike tips over when you forget to put the kickstand down before getting off the bike. :O
No damage to the bike. No damage to my ego either. [no one was around ]
