Yours is definitely a Classic Tourer. Silver engine/chrome valve cover with a lot of accessories pre-installed (windshield, bags, etc.) onto a Classic. IMHO, the silver engine is a left-over '05 or '06 silver engine since the Standard and Classics went black in '06.
They didn't make many Classic Tourers did they? Ive seen it labelled as a 'Limited Edition' in some Triumph literature - wonder if that will make them more sought after in time.
The Classic Tourer was a Classic with bags, windshield and a left over '06 silver motor ( ) thrown on to help increase sells. Classic Tourers were only available in '07 Maybe '08 as well. Not to be confused with the current Rocket III Touring which is a totally different animal.

Only '07 models for the Classic Tourer. Two-tone paint, silver engine, all the touring goodies much like the current Thunderbird "Limited Edition". At least in the States it was marketed as the Classic Tourer.
When the TourING model arrived in '08, no more Classic Tourer.
It's registered and titled as an '07. There seems to have been multiple production runs of the '07 model , as witnessed by Flip when he was designing and building his paddock stand. Different frame mounting hole sizes for early and late '07 models. Perhaps the late '07 has the engine color change from silver to black, at least on the Classic.
To ad more confusion
My friend ordered a jet black standard in 06 because he wanted a black on black one
The dealer ordered it and said its the only black on black that they would get that year
Turns out it was a stripped down classic
Different gauges different gauge mount different kickstand even the motor and frame numbers were from a classic smtco1l instead of smtcool as per standard
In the early days they just threw what ever they had together to make an order
But it's registered as a standard but we know it started as a classic
Thanks for all the info folks! I really prefer the black engine but if the silver is faster,,,,,, I guess it'll be ok This bike has a lot of extras on it so it's tempting, even a center stand which even the dealer had never seen. On another topic the asking price is $9,000.00 and mileage is 10,000mi so it seems pretty fair priced. Any ideas on this? Prices are quite varied on Craiglist and Ebay, seems things aren't pulling blue book these days. Joining the Rocket ranks soon!! Thanks again, Mark
Bought my '07 Classic with 10k on it last March for $8000.00 at a BMW dealer. Doesn't have center stand (Paddock Stand on order from FLIP) but everything else you mentioned plus it had just been serviced and had new tires. Guess what I'm saying is try to do some negotiating on that $9000.00 price.
