Anticipating receiving these fine cables, some questions: Where does the battery's negative cable attach? At the frame or engine? Where exactly? Same for the battery positive cable, where does it attach, the starter or elsewhere? Thanks from a non-Rocket scientist.
 

While these are good questions, from a practical standpoint, since these are a direct replacement, one follows the wires.

Oh yeah, I now see what you mean about, "one follows the wires." You did not mention the part about also needing to be a motorcycle neurosurgeon in their physical and mental prime but I forgive you for that little omission.
