I know where you are coming from ,I have a 1985 Harley Superglide 2 1340 the last of the shovels that I bought new in 86 and rode everywhere a 8000k round trip from Sydney to Perth by myself to "run her in "

I retired her to the shed with the top end rattling like German band and 135000 miles on the clock after 16 years of loyal service ,every now and again I fuel her up jump start her and ride around the block and wonder how I did all those miles ,like you all the time thinking I was a bad boy ,this was the times before Harleys became a fashion accessory for the rich and clueless,
