The Denali website seems down but other sites list the specs as 20A, so I think you're right on the edge
Again, the difference is because the voltage is higher, therefor the current is higher
I = V/R - so as V goes up I goes up by the same proportion
The load (R) remains the same, but if you increase V by 10% you also increase current by 10%
With Ignition/lights on you are probably in low 12.x at battery; running you are at 14.x
so EASILY 10% more (and maybe even 15%)
