When I bought my VN2000, I rode it for a year, loved it! But we always want more HP don’t we? Course we do. I had small, easy to instal Electronic Timing Advancement Kit. It worked Sooo good. This kit combined with big throat pipes just turned my VN into a beast. 17 years later, has never failed, or needed recalibration. FKn the SHt. Question is......Has any R3r owner installed a timing advancement kit into their Triumph? I’m sooo tempted to try it.
No, but years ago I had a timing advance kit with a dial on the dashboard on a one ton dually with a built 454, it would smoke the rear wheels, surprised people. So long ago, I don't remember the make.

You can change the ignition on the new R3’s using TuneECU, although the stock bike does 0-60 in 2.7 sec. And install an unrestricted tune to get 170+ rwhp.
