Dyno Day coming on Friday

Well, initial results are back, sadly I had the tune off by a good bit. Made some adjustments and having it redone in a bit, looks like 160 might be "just" attainable.

EDIT: Got the a single pull, the tech was busy, and no print out :/ Grrr, but at least he took the time while he was swamped to throw a new tire on my rear (G852), and strap the rocket down for a pull. Results

153.8 hp 6000 RPM to redline, the normal shape rockets have that are piped
149 peak lbft (yeah, its a bit lower than I expected) and 140+ lbft from 2800 - 5800 ish

I only get a second to glance at the screen and confirm my tune edits fixed what needed fixing over 5000 RPM.

All things considered (92f/40%humidity), street developed tune, custom ignition map, and the ozclaw not really helping flow any while sitting on a dyno (im sure it helps on the move though), I think it landed right about where it should have. Maybe another 5hp(ish) carp/nev/wayne/powertripp could pull out of it, but its close enough :p

Don't know if this will be of help - 2012 R3R - trip K&N RU2780 - CES

The WORST result I have got from the Reband on a stock engined bike Art was 162 hp. best 168 from memory. Only done a couple of CES, come in about 156-158. Only Carp exhaust had a supercharger attatched so we went a tick over those numbers :), VERY loud exhaust . All those numbers on BP fuel from up the road and with air filters.

My plots were incredibly similar, like you could shuffle them and if I didnt know which was which I probably couldn't pick the right one out if the max numbers were removed, right down tot he slight dip in torque from 3600-4000 RPM. Only significant difference really is the AFRs, mine are slightly leaner ~13.3 vs 13, again, well within the margin of sensor error.

I was under the impression the CES pipes made more than the Rebands, clearly I was mistaken. I wonder, are the 15x sets you did 2" or 2.25", CES makes both if I remember right.

NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT... my CES set has a custom length muffler, its longer than most to keep sound down a touch, I wonder if that's whats showing on the slightly (tiny) less power, its potentially within dyno margin of error so whatever :p

How much longer is it ? The Shorty Rebands make about 3 or 4 hp more on average than the normal length and the CES is a smaller diameter than the Reband,so extra length may knock a bit off the top.

Nev, what kind of numbers did you get with Carlenter exhaust with the supercharger? I'm thinking Carpenters exhaust may be my next upgrade.

My order was a custom build from them:
Headers 2.25" OD
Muffler 2.25" ID
~6" longer, straight cut end.

The pipe extends back about 1" beyond the rear axle nut.

Went and looked again, its not 1" beyond the rear axle bolt, its about 7" beyond it, even with the back end of the rear tire rim (not tire, rim).

Just used some calipers to verify the OD of the headers and muffler mid-pipe,

Header OD: 44.6mm (1.75")
Mid Pipe OD: 56.3mm (2.2")
