Drive shaft

Alibi: I will offer no useful help in this post, but I couldn't but notice that your name is “Axel” which would imply that you have firsthand knowledge of the driveline. As for techniques to actually remove the drive shaft, I think a small amount of C4 placed at both ends with an electrical charge should work...
(Sorry for my inner sailor coming out this morning but I am in a great mood after the ride in to work today!

ya gotta take off the swing arm..I've had mine off twice just to check and see if the trans end needed grease..it didn't..

yes, ya need the special notched socket to take the nut off..I think I made mine by grinding out the 'teeth'

If I do order a driveshaft is there any other parts that need to be ordered with it ? the manual is alittle vage

I am not sure if the spring in the differential end comes with it but as long as you do not lose yours you could always use it. Make sure you do not order the wrong one.

Would you be a gentleman and post a pic of your modified socket.
