Hello all:
I've got an '07 R3 Classic Tourer with just over 16k miles on it. I've had no issues to speak of thus far and have been loving every moment I can spend with the rocket.
For the last couple of weeks. I've noticed a strange issue. When I am coming to a stop, I feel a "rubbing" sensation through my left footboard.
It decreases in frequency as the bike slows down. There is no noise and I only notice it when I'm going less than 10mph while stopping. It's as if I can feel the last 3 or 4 revolutions of the drive shaft. Also, it's intermittent. I notice it approximately 1 time out of 10.
I was hoping I could let it go until my 20k service. Any thoughts?
Of course I don't want to be without my bike during the season. WI has long winters so the dealership can have it for as long as necessary during those months. I'm sure you get my drift.
