Thinking about riding to Marion to ride the dragon's back then slipping down to ride the tail. Anyone here ever ride tail?

Yes, almost everyone that attended Maggie Valley RAA this year. Myself and a couple guys had a great run, never saw another bike behind or in front of us the whole run. I think we got lucky, I think it can get crowded at times.

The back of the dragon starts up in Tazwell and runs down marion. If your up there you should take a ride in burke's garden ( Gods Thumbprint)

Omish people down there so watch for the occasional horse and bugg once you down in there. We road that first then the back of the dragon.

I was thinking Wednesday/Thursday. Hope it won't be too bad then. But in summer does it really make that much a difference with vacations and what not

Watch for speed traps most anytime and opposing traffic (including bikes) in your lane.

Just rented a cabin in Gatlinburg for the last week of September, I will be riding the tale sometime mid week. This is definitely one of the top on the bucket List....
