Can anyone post dyno sheets showing that Ramair filters substantially improve Rockets' performance? Thanks.

I'm far from an expert but I'd guess that since a ram air setup would require high wind speed to generate power, it would be rather difficult to simulate on most dyno setups.

They are talking about a brand of the air filter called Ramair. It actually has no ram air functions. See ramair UK website.

I believe Neville Lush did do a comparo sometime ago and it was a very good result in fact I think it was up up there in that it was moving plenty of air similar to the larger K&N's and heaps better than the K&N 2780's

Well that's a silly name. Reminds me of a girl I met in a bar in Yokohama. She called herself Virgin Mary.

Somebody here recently claimed the 2780s are as good as anything else.
??????????????????????????

Someone on here did a before and after dyno run on an otherwise stock Roadster. From memory the Ramair and Neville Lush fine tuning gave a 20hp increase. There was a Dyno print out posted at the time.

Never saw dyno results, but Nev is a stand up guy with as much or more knowledge about putting power into the R3 than anyone.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Hans0. I found Neville's post of 12-19-2013 in which he reports some good findings about Ramair. I hope he shares his findings made in the subsequent year. I don't think we ever learned Power-Tripp's opinion on Ramair even though he planned to evaluate them.

I was hoping that somebody had dyno'd a stock Rocket then added the Ramair kit and done another run. Just looking to see if they will generate some extra performance with a stock exhaust. I am assuming that a custom tune would be required (something more that the "12 Minute Tune"). When I look at dyno records for modified bikes it is really not comparing apples to apples as they relate to a stock Rocket.
