Sounds like bait and switch. See nice and slim lights in the release pictures only to find in the US you get stuck with fugly. I wonder if the TFCs to the US will also be saddled with those ugly a$$ lights?
If this is so, it must be because the Euro signals do not meet the FMVSS and are deficient.

Interestingly, here in WA (and likely in the US), signals must be clearly visible in daylight for 500 feet.
Taillights in daylight only for 300 feet.
I haven't figured that one out yet . . .

I do also use arm signals when leading a group for impending turns.
